The Giles County Republican Committee will host its 8th Annual Stafford-Morris Dinner on Friday, April 17, 2020, in Pearisburg, Virginia. This year, we are excited to welcome former U.S. House Majority Leader, Eric Cantor, as our keynote speaker! The event is expected to bring together 100 Republican leaders, activists, and candidates from across Southwest Virginia and all around the Commonwealth.

Named after former Delegate Jeff Stafford and former Giles GOP Chairman Howard Morris, the dinner provides the Giles GOP with an opportunity to launch its election operations for the upcoming election. In its five years, the event has hosted numerous statewide candidates. Its keynote speakers have included former Virginia Governors George Allen and Bob McDonnell, former RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie, Congressman Morgan Griffith, Virginia State Senator Mark Obenshain, and former Virginia Attorney General Jerry Kilgore.
